  1. In this file you will find installation instructions as well as information
  2. on additional features added most recently that are not reflected in the
  3. documentation.

  5. If you have received a DEMO VERSION from a BBS, you will need to UN-ZIP the
  6. original file to a floppy drive and then run the INSTALL procedure.  The
  7. files in EZLANDMO.ZIP will fit on a 360K DSDD floppy or better.  As of 5/92,
  8. PCS distributes demo and Shareware versions of its software in .ZIP form
  9. with the AUTHENTICITY VERIFICATION feature enabled.  If your ZIP file does
  10. not report that the files came directly from PCS, you might not have a
  11. complete, virus-free-certified, copy.  Contact PCS at (504) 831-9717.

  13. LAN USERS:   *** Please see the file LANINFO.DOC for complete information on
  14.                  installing EZ-MENU in a LAN environment.  This only applies
  15.                  to those who have the LAN version.

  17. PLEASE NOTE:  That upon registration/purchase of EZ-Menu, you are granted
  18. a license to use ONE copy of the software on ONE machine.  Contact PCS or
  19. your local EZ-Menu dealer for information on purchasing additional copies
  20. for other PCs.

  28. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (FROM FLOPPY DISK):

  31.  EZ-Menu now has an integrated INSTALL/UPDATE utility.  The INSTALL.EXE
  32.  program will automatically detect an existing version of EZ-Menu
  33.  installed on your machine and allow you to only upgrade the system
  34.  files (if desired) - keeping your old menu structure intact.
  35.  
  36.  Installation Instructions:
  37.  
  38.  1.  Put the EZ-MENU disk in your floppy drive
  39.  
  40.  2.  Type A:INSTALL and press ENTER from DOS
  41.      If your floppy drive is not A:, then substitute the appropriate
  42.      drive letter.
  43.  
  44.  3.  The INSTALL program will take over and tell you everything you need
  45.      to do for installation - this basically amounts to simply pressing
  46.      a key from time to time while the program tells you what it is
  47.      doing.  No thinking necessary...
  48.  
  49.   If you want EZ-Menu installed in another subdirectory other than \EZMENU,
  50.   consult the documentation on doing so (the INSTALL procedure
  51.   will put EZ-Menu automatically in the \EZMENU subdirectory).

  53. ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS:

  56.   After installing EZ-Menu, you will find a file called WHATSNEW.DOC.
  57.   This file contains a detailed listing of new features.
  58.
